Mrs. Rogers' 3rd grade GATE students have spent the past several months learning about African culture, daily life, art, music and food. During the past month they spent time turning their classroom into an African museum. Parents were invited to attend as students presented all that they had learned though displays, projects, song, and dance. Mr. Robert Sims, principal at Evans, was a guest speaker. He had been on mission trips to Africa and shared his experiences with students.
