3rd Grade Visits Tennessee Aquarium

AES 3rd graders recently went on a field trip to the Tennessee Aquarium. During the trip students watched the IMAX movie Born to be Wild where they an inspiring story of love and dedication to animals and their young and the relationship between humans and animals. Next, students visited the River Journey aquarium where they encountered freshwater animals such as giant catfish, otters, brightly colored frog, and even anacondas. Students then enjoyed the salt-water Ocean Journey Aquarium. In this aquarium they were able to walk though the Butterfly Garden, pet Stingrays, view enormous ocean sharks, and take in the magnificence of the ocean's invertebrates in the Boneless Beauties display.
