4th Grade Students Enjoying Music Stations

This month at AES the 4th grade music students are rotating through different music stations. At the instrument station, the students are learning different songs by working together and playing the boomwhackers. At the musical reading station, the students are listening to the music on the iPods while following along in the book. At the conducting and notating station, the students get to be mini maestros and conduct by using the conducting batons, as well as practicing music notation on the dry erase boards. At the game station, the students get to play musical games on the iPads. At the listening station, the students get to listen to music and express their feelings by drawing how the music makes them feel. The students have been very excited about being able to experience music in a different.
